Why I do Real Estate...
I have been in Real Estate for over a decade now. I was raised around real estate with my father and grandfather being realtors. My uncle and cousin have also been involved one way or another when it comes to Real Estate or construction. I love to work with people and understand that real estate is usually the largest purchase a person will make. I believe in the investment of Real Estate, even in tough times. As the saying goes, "they are not making any more land" and having the tax right off every year, along with a place to call home speaks loud to me.
My other life consist of working as a full time professional firefighter. I am passionate about the fire service and public service in general. I do 3-4 charity events every year and believe in making a difference for others who don't have the fortunate life that I do. When Kris and I left Century 21, we created a special program for firefighters, police officers, nurses and teachers. If there is any way we can earn your business, we would be honored. About Kris Langdahl
A little about me...
I was born in Tacoma, Washington, and have spent all my life in the Pierce and King County areas. I am originally from Sumner. My home for the past 25 plus years has been on the East Hill of Kent, Washington. Upon graduation from Green River College, I worked 25 years at a transportation consulting company called Northwest Traffic Associates. I was hired as their office administrator and took care of more than 80 employees. At the time I left I was the Administrative Manager of the accounting department.
After leaving Northwest Traffic, I went to work for The Boeing Company for 5 ½ years. I worked in their Human Resource department. Upon being laid off from Boeing in 2003, I decided to change careers and try my luck as a Realtor. Over the past several years I have sold more than two dozen homes. I continue to learn something new each day and keep abreast of the current real estate market.
I have been in administrative and customer service positions for over 30 years. My main goal is being able to help people find a suitable home they will be happy and comfortable with. My best asset is that I’m a good listener, and will take note of all your wants and needs.
I’ve been married for the past 25 years to a wonderful man and have a beautiful 25 year old daughter. My hobbies include scrapbooking, reading, traveling (especially to any of the Hawaiian Islands), and meeting new people.
